The CHIT and CHOT Series from COMPAQ International are medium voltage heat shrink termination kits designed for XLPE and EPR insulated cables. Developed for reliable use in power distribution systems up to 42kV, these kits offer proven performance in both indoor switchgear and outdoor environments.
Manufactured using red non-tracking, UV-resistant polymer insulation and CSCT stress control tubing, each kit ensures proper electrical field control and environmental sealing. The CHIT series is suitable for enclosed installations, while CHOT is designed for exposed, weather-affected applications.
Designed to perform in high humidity, polluted, and outdoor installations without compromising insulation.
All materials are tested for electrical endurance, thermal resistance, and long-term sealing.
A consistent heat-shrink installation process using conventional tools ensures predictable field performance.
Compatible with a wide range of cable sizes, core types, and conductor materials.
Components are shelf-stable and packaged for extended storage under standard conditions.
